Associate Creator Director Ty Howard was invited to be one of six featured presenters at the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) Magnet Summer Institute: Creating a Common Vision, July 12-13. Held on the beautiful campus of Broughton High School this year, the Institute is a two-day professional workshop for WCPSS magnet and early college schools.
Speaking to an audience of 30+ faculty and administrators, Ty delivered a 45-minute presentation/workshop on the art of story marketing for educational institutions. The session touched on the fundamentals of the storytelling process while also providing helpful tips and tricks on creating a successful story marketing campaign.
“It was a very fascinating and collaborative experience,” Ty stated. “I was glad folks felt comfortable and empowered enough to share their own thoughts on storytelling as well as their past and previous marketing efforts.”
