helping build an authentic visual brand
For nearly 20 years and prior to joining Avenir Bold as creative director, David Watts worked with Whole Foods Market, the world’s largest retailer of organic and natural food products, to craft a unique visual identity for this well-known brand. The style reflects WFM’s natural, hand-crafted approach to its products. Over the years David worked directly with Whole Foods Market to create packaging, point-of-sale and environmental graphics for their stores across the country. His work can be seen on their shipping trailers as well as local delivery trucks. He also created a proprietary font (Whole Font) and his work was included as part of their 2007 national brand guidelines.
