Avenir Bold is seeking a part-time Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper with QuickBooks Online experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role involves working closely with our Accounting Director and internal teams to clear media and production invoices, facilitate monthly client billing and maintain expense records. A solid foundation in bookkeeping and a working knowledge of accounting, along with a proactive, can-do attitude, is essential. Prior experience in a marketing agency is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
Manage and reconcile media invoices.
Pull client billing information and generate invoices.
Track and categorize expenses.
Issue purchase orders and reconcile expenses.
Handle other bookkeeping tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in bookkeeping with references.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Strong knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Positive, can-do attitude with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
