Avenir Bold strongly believes in helping brands with purpose flourish. Earlier this year, we jumped at the chance to work with a local nonprofit, solely based on their ongoing mission and strong vision for the future.
The Triangle Gay Men’s Chorus provides a venue for gay and gay-affirming individuals to develop their interest in vocal music and display their musical talents in a professional manner. The organization strives to strengthen the spirit and open presence of the gay community and to offer a positive image of that community to the public-at-large – all through the power of music.
Once we officially established TGMC as our pro-bono client, Avenir Bold began providing creative services to help the promotion of the organization and brand within the N.C. Triangle area. One of them being the creation of a brand new visual identity.
Over the span of three weeks, our creative team explored a myriad of visual elements and wordmarks to develop a logo that captured the unique spirit of the chorus. After creating and vetting numerous options, we presented six new logos to TGMC’s Board of Directors. For the board, the choice was clear.
Avenir Bold is currently working to refine the final wordmark, which TGMC plans to roll out at the beginning of their 25th season starting January 2020.
